Helios at Fukimi Ramen, Sacramento

Fukimi Ramen is a ramen restaurant in Natomas, Sacramento. A long row of Helios Tall pendant lamps runs along the wood-clad bulkhead above the open kitchen and the counter.

Helios takes its rhythm from classical architecture: fine vertical ribs, like the fluting of a column, run around a white cylinder with rounded shoulders. Hung in a line at the same height, the pendants repeat that rhythm across the length of the room.
